About This Tour
On the Cerro Benítez cave-paintings trek you'll discover traces of Patagonia's ancient past, heading north from Puerto Natales. Just over 25 km away, you'll begin a day of exploration through the archaeological park within the Ernesto Helmer Ranch.
History and landscape
The route reveals imposing mountains, crevasses, rock overhangs and valleys — and the cave paintings that record the people who lived here long ago. Condors often soar overhead, and from the summit you'll enjoy a spectacular panorama of the Eberhard Fjord, Señoret Channel and the iconic Sofía Lagoon.
