About This Tour
KAYAK TOUR – EBERHARD FJORD, GUANACO ISLAND & ISLAND OF THE DEAD
This full-day kayak expedition explores the origins of Patagonian settlement and the unique landscapes where history and nature meet. You'll paddle the calm waters of Eberhard Fjord to the natural meeting point of the Última Esperanza Fjord — discovered in 1557 by Juan de Ladrillero — and the Señoret Channel, gateway to the southern fjords.
On the water
Surrounded by panoramic views of Mount Balmaceda and the Paine range, this 8-hour journey blends adventure, silence and a deep sense of exploration, passing Guanaco Island and the Island of the Dead. Suitable for motivated beginners with a reasonable fitness level; full instruction is provided.
What's included
Certified bilingual guides, full kayak equipment (kayak, paddle, dry suit or neoprene, gloves, boots, spraydeck, helmet, life jacket, dry bag), box lunch, round-trip transportation, a safety briefing and technical instruction, and basic accident insurance. Bring thermal base layers.
