Tour Plan
This tour begins with pick-up at your accommodation and a drive of approximately one hour along the Bahía del Bote route until you reach Estancia Vega Castillo.
There, the exploration of its extensive wetland begins, one of the largest and most diverse in the area, surrounded by Nothofagus forests, the Tres Pasos River, and Lake Toro. This privileged environment is home and nesting site for multiple species, including black-necked swans, coscoroba, bandurrias, ducks and birds of prey that feed on the presence of carrion left by predators such as pumas and foxes.
At midday there is a break to rest and enjoy a box lunch, then continuing towards the reeds sector, where it is possible to spot less common species such as the Trabajador, Trile and Siete Colores.
The tour schedule is up to you, although it is recommended to start at 6:00 am to make the most of the observation conditions. Fauna.
